OK, both blogger and the updated Firefox are causing problems: in case anyone has tried recently it's now impossible to go to any of the archived pages here. I have backed up everything - if I can ever find the time and energy I'll repost the entire 20-odd years of the blog on the WaveWrights site, but don't hold your breath! -going to just delete most of the blog.
