Heh. So much for a relaxing day! Still, I've done most of the holiday shopping now, which means I
can rest over the next few days. And Sainsbug's had some interesting specials, including an oven-ready partridge. We've never had partridge. It's about the size of the average blackbird, so there won't be more than a taste for each of us, but what the hell - it'll be interesting. Couldn't find any pear trees though...
Card day today!
He chose it himself, and yes, it made me chuckle...
Then I saw this and had to get it for Ken...
The inside is kind of apt, too!
Thorne, I had onna sending me
hamrantulas, and Lutra drawing bonded
ham-hams - I
don't need conga rats as well, thank you very much! Besides, I can't
imagine how rats could be 'cute' and 'bishieful'. And as for the thongs... [shudder]
Since Seti@home moved, I've had a problem with the computer's System Idle process kicking in and swallowing up all my memory if the machine's left unattended for any length of time (five minutes today!), which is no fun as even closing down to reboot takes ten minutes. So I finally nipped over to
BOINC (lovely name! My computer is BOINCing!) and downloaded the software: I currently have Climatechange and Einstein@home trundling along in the background. (Tried to rejoin Seti@home but it appears I changed my password and didn't make a note of it, so the system won't let me in. I'll need to contact them to find out what it was, but since I took over as IAVMT webmaster the main page renders in
Japanese and I can't read it. No, no idea why, but my main site access log appears in Korean on ftp, which I can't read either. At least it makes for an interesting life...) So far so good - switching applications on the machine is actually
faster now.
This was quite fun, mainly because it wasn't easy to predict the answer. Lovely illustrations too.
You are The Moon
Hope, expectation, bright promises.
The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.
The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause irreparable damage. This time, however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.
What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.
[blink] They've remade
The Producers? Doesn't anyone make
new films anymore?
Dreams in the post - Special Delivery, to arrive there by 1pm tomorrow, and I slapped on £5,000-worth of consequential loss insurance as well, just to be on the safe side.
Right! Back to something fun...
